The GTS staff and select producing sales partners reviewed the contributions and efforts of more than 50 top channel managers working with GTS. Farrar was selected based on her responsiveness, product and pricing knowledge, service and partner support, and volume of orders. She is the sole recipient of this year's GTS Channel Manager of the Year Award, which was presented at the 4th annual GTS Open House partner event on July 20, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan. Additionally, Voxox was among only four companies represented on the event's industry experts panel, a recap of which is available on the Voxox blog.

Joann Farrar has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She joined Voxox in 2009 to establish the small to medium-sized business and wholesale business sales channels, and has since been a critical and guiding voice in evolving the channel partner program. Prior to Voxox, Farrar was the general manager at TelNet Technologies, and before that, Farrar held management positions in operations with NEC and Nortel (now owned by Avaya). Earlier in her career, Farrar was a financial analyst for Merrill Lynch. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.
