TelCentris CTO Named a Finalist in San Diego Business Journal's IT Executive of the Year Awards
SAN DIEGO – June 8, 2009 – TelCentris Inc., a new type of telephony company based in San Diego, today announced CTO and co-founder Kevin Hertz's finalist standing in the San Diego Business Journal's IT Executive of the Year awards. The company also welcomes experienced communications professional Lisa Kendall as the head of the marketing team for VoxOx, TelCentris' flagship consumer service that unifies today's key communication channels – voice, video, IM, text, social media, e- mail, fax and more – into a single, intuitive user interface.

Hertz's ability to develop industry-changing, innovative platforms, including TelCentris' proprietary service delivery platform, the "Unified Communications Engine," has earned TelCentris numerous accolades over the years – the "Unified Communications Engine" won the Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award in both 2007 and 2008.
The newest addition to TelCentris' management team, Lisa Kendall brings nine years of telecommunications marketing experience and will be responsible for implementing integrated consumer campaigns, overseeing branding and directing overall strategic marketing initiatives. Kendall previously worked as vice president of business partnerships at digital marketing agency JHG, where she led client groups and business development. Prior to JHG, Kendall served as marketing manager at Cox Communications, where she was a key player on the team that launched Cox Digital Telephone, Cox Digital Cable and Cox High Speed Internet and was later ultimately responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns for all services and Channel 4 San Diego. The winners of the San Diego Business Journal's 2nd Annual Information Technology Executive of the Year awards will be announced at an event held on April 23, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm PST at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif.
