Voxox Partners with VTC Intecom to Offer Co-Branded OTT App in Vietnam

Partnership deal extends Voxox For Operators Program reach in AsiaBARCELONA (MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS) and SAN DIEGO – February 25, 2014 – Voxox®, the most comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service for consumers and businesses, today announced at Mobile World Congress, being held at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, February 24-27, 2014, the addition of a new partner to its Voxox For Operators™ program: VTC Intecom, a subsidiary of Vietnam Multimedia Corporation (VTC). An ISP and cable company with plans to deploy a mobile network, VTC is a multiple-system operator and Vietnam's leading digital content provider with more than 16 million active accounts for digital content services. VTC has partnered with Voxox to launch a co-branded version of the Voxox application on the iOS, Android and desktop platforms to deliver powerful unified communications features coupled with digital content, such as games, through various distribution channels. The partnership is a no CAPEX, revenue-share deal with a non-exclusive license targeting the Vietnamese market.
As part of the agreement, VTC will license, distribute, and monetize the co-branded apps using its Vcoins virtual currency for VTC customers. Voxox will integrate select VTC content into the co-branded apps and localize the apps in the Vietnamese language. In addition, the Voxox desktop application will integrate the VTC Game Launcher, which will allow customers to download and play games that are licensed by VTC. Once deployed, the co-branded app will enable users to sign in with their current VTC login or Facebook login and use a Friend Finder feature to search for contacts and invite them to download the application and communicate for free. Voxox will issue phone numbers to VTC customers and terminate their calls on a global basis using its award-winning Service Delivery Platform, expansive telecom network interconnections, and highly competitive rates. Future plans include developing calling and messaging capabilities for VTC gaming customers to use in real-time during gameplay.

The VTC partnership agreement is the latest in a series of deals brokered as part of the Voxox For Operators program, which was first introduced at Mobile World Congress 2013. The Voxox For Operators program enables service providers and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to economically deploy the industry's most comprehensive suite of OTT services in order to recoup revenue being lost to competing OTT players and generate incremental revenue from a wide variety of compelling features.
