Voxox Adds Shravan Kumar to Executive Team as Vice President of System Engineering

Kumar to lead optimization of systems design and technical solution requirements in light of Voxox's growing list of large operator and OEM partnerships
SAN DIEGO – May 22, 2014 – Voxox®, the most comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service for consumers and businesses, today announced the addition of Shravan Kumar as vice president of system engineering. Kumar will be leading the system engineering team at Voxox and will be focusing on the company's key strategic goal in expanding the business by offering the company's solutions to operators and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners. In addition, Kumar will be working closely with the product, engineering and marketing teams to enhance Voxox's existing products and optimize system design solutions required to service the company's large scale partners and end-customers.

Kumar has more than 15 years of experience in legacy and next generation wireless and IP networks Prior to joining Voxox, Kumar worked at Mavenir Systems for seven years building several key products that included carrier-grade SBC, IMS core and application servers, as well as virtualized evolved packet core. Kumar was the sole architect of the world's first ever VoLTE launch, as well as the first ever RCS launch, with MetroPCS. He has also served in product development and management roles with Sonus, Motorola and Telesoft.

Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
